Welcome to Interface!
God is creating a hunger for mentoring relationships in the hearts of people of all ages in our mobile and increasingly isolated society. It is always exciting to see how God spreads the word about Interface Mentoring!
Interface has been an active, effective ministry in churches around the country for almost three decades. It’s thrilling to share with you what God is using to strengthen Christ-followers in the body of Christ across the nation and around the world.
The Bible Study used in Interface is a five-question format used on the weekly-assigned portion of Scripture. Most importantly, students learn how to do homiletics and how to combine their homiletics with the five-question format which results in a thorough and personal examination of Scripture. In addition, there are practical life-skill lessons that help students focus on living out their faith journey in practical, every-day situations.
I am excited to share that we also have a two-year Children’s Program – Interface God & Me – in addition to the Interface adult materials. God & Me is optional for the churches that have Interface, but we have found it to be a powerful incentive for mothers of young children to participate. Many young women have chosen to join Interface so that their children can be in this unique and excellent program.
We schedule training sessions to equip interested individuals and ministry teams to start the Interface program in the Fall and Spring each year. If you are interested, or have a team that is interested, please contact me for dates for our next scheduled training weekend.
Questions are welcome – don’t hesitate to contact me through our contact page. May the Lord bless you as you seek His plan for ministering to those He has entrusted to you.
In Christ,
Marsha Walenta, Director
